The goal of this review center
Each weekly update gives members a plain-language walkthrough of the proposed bylaws as we prepare for the member vote at the August Luncheon on August 18. Everything is archived here so you can review the documents, videos, timeline, and FAQ on your own schedule before final action is taken. Members planning to attend the luncheon should register here. Click on each of the sections to toggle through any resources you are interested in to learn about the proposed bylaws changes. If you aren’t sure where to start click on the “Start Here” section to learn background information. All videos will be uploaded to this page as they are released. What are bylaws and why are they being updated?
Bylaws are the governing rules that determine how the association is structured and run, including membership, leadership, meetings, and elections. Updates may be proposed for compliance reasons, to reflect changes in how the association operates, or to align with NAR guidelines. This FAQ will be expanded with specific reasons as the series progresses.
Where can I find the proposed changes?
Both the red-lined version, showing changes, and the clean version, showing the final bylaws if all changes are adopted, are available in the Documents section of this page. Direct links are also included in every weekly email update.
How can I ask a question?
Use the Submit a Question form on this page. Include your name, brokerage, email, and the article or topic your question is about. Questions are reviewed weekly. If your question is broadly useful, it may be answered in an upcoming video or added to this FAQ. Individual questions may be answered directly.
What happens if I miss one of the weekly updates?
All videos and updates are archived here in the Video Library. You can review any update at any time throughout the review period.
When is the vote to accept these changes?
The vote will take place at the August Luncheon on August 18, 2026 at 11:45 AM. You can register to participate in the vote by clicking here.
