Introducing the 2026 Longleaf Pine REALTORS® Committees, Charges & Updated Committee Handbook

Longleaf Pine REALTORS® is proud to announce the officially approved 2026 Committees, Committee Chairs, Committee Members, and updated Committee Handbook, as adopted by the Board of Directors on December 4, 2025. These committees play an essential role in advancing our mission of supporting REALTORS®, strengthening our communities, and elevating professionalism across our region.

Our committees—ranging from Bylaws, Community Outreach, Education, Finance & Budget, Government Affairs, Professional Standards, Member Engagement, MLS, DEI, RPAC, Property Management, Economic Development, New Professionals (YPN), and others—provide the expertise, leadership, and member-driven insight needed to support the programs and initiatives defined in LPR’s Strategic Plan.

2026 Committee Charges Now Available

Each committee operates under its newly approved 2026 Committee Charges, outlining responsibilities, operational expectations, membership eligibility, and meeting guidance.
Highlights include:

  • Community Outreach: Planning up to four major community service projects annually.
  • Finance & Budget: Oversight of financial policy, annual budget review, and fiscal stewardship.
  • Government Affairs: Monitoring municipal and county issues impacting real estate and advocating for private property rights.
  • Professional Standards & Grievance: Ensuring ethical practice, reviewing ethics complaints, and upholding NAR’s Code of Ethics.
  • Education: Delivering high-quality professional development opportunities.

The Updated 2026 Committee Handbook

The 2026 Committee Handbook is now live and includes:

  • Committee roles and expectations
  • Robert’s Rules guidance
  • Key LPR governance policies (confidentiality, attendance, virtual meeting policy, conflict of interest, etc.)
  • Responsibilities of the Chair and Staff Liaison
  • Meeting structure and quorum requirements

This handbook supports transparency, consistency, and professionalism across all committees.
