Recap: NCR Winter Leadership Meetings — January 26–30, 2026
The 2026 Winter Leadership Meetings brought together REALTOR® leaders, association executives, committee volunteers, and industry partners from across North Carolina for a powerful multi-day convergence of education, collaboration, and strategic planning. Held January 26–30 at the Grandover Resort & Spa in Greensboro, this year’s event empowered attendees with leadership skills, professional insights, and meaningful connections to carry forward into 2026.
Focused on Leadership Growth and Vision
A highlight of the Winter Leadership Meetings was the Vision Quest, an immersive leadership development experience inspired by the NAR L.E.A.D. Vision Course. Facilitated by national and industry experts, sessions challenged participants to think strategically about leadership in their associations, leverage innovation and technology, and build actionable goals for the year ahead. Vision Quest encouraged attendees to deepen their impact, cultivate resilience, and refine their leadership voice within the REALTOR® community.
Networking, Engagement, and Connection
Across the week, the event offered abundant opportunities to build relationships and exchange ideas. The Partner & Sponsor Expo showcased products and services designed to support REALTOR® businesses and operations, while social gatherings, such as the President’s Reception honoring Brenda Hayden, provided a space for celebration and community building. Committee meetings and forums — including the Legislative Forum and sessions for diverse REALTOR® groups — facilitated open dialogue about topics ranging from economic development and advocacy to professional standards and member benefits.
Collaboration and Committee Action
Attendees also engaged in a wide array of committee meetings that shape the direction of NCR’s work throughout the year. These included meetings of the Economic Development Committee, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, Professional Standards Committee, and many others. Each forum served as a collaborative platform to advance strategic priorities, refine programs, and elevate member service across the state.
Celebrating REALTOR® Engagement
Despite winter weather rescheduling a few sessions early in the week, the association rallied together to make the most of every moment. Members shared insights, best practices, and perspectives that reflect the breadth and diversity of real estate professionals across North Carolina. From roundtable discussions to peer networking breakfasts and committee orientations, the Winter Leadership Meetings reinforced the value of REALTOR® engagement, volunteerism, and shared purpose.
