Hoke County Accepting Applications
for Home Repair Assistance Program

Hoke County residents may now apply for assistance through the
Essential Single Family Rehabilitation Loan Pool (ESFRLP), a housing
rehabilitation program designed to help eligible homeowners make neces
sary repairs to their homes.

The program provides funding to address housing conditions that threat
en the health, safety, and well-being of homeowners. Eligible repairs may
include roofing, heating and air conditioning systems, electrical systems,
plumbing, accessibility improvements, and other critical housing needs.
To qualify, applicants must:

  • Own and occupy the home as their primary residence.
  • Meet income eligibility requirements established by the NC Housing
    Finance Agency.
  • Have housing conditions that require rehabilitation and meet program
    guidelines.
    The Hoke County Essential Single Family Rehabilitation Loan Pool
    is administered by Hoke County in partnership with the North Carolina
    Housing Finance Agency.
    Applications may be obtained in the following ways:
  • Online through the Hoke County website under Senior Services and
    the “Application for Housing Assistance” section.
  • In person at Hoke County Senior Services, located at 423 East Central
    Avenue, Raeford, NC.
  • Homeowners are encouraged to apply as soon as possible due to limited
    funding availability. The application deadline has been extended to July
    6, 2026, and the selection of units has been extended to July 10, 2026.
