pursuant to G.S. 153A-323, that the
following Public Hearings will be held before the Hoke County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 7:00 pm, at the Pratt Building, 227 N. Main Street, Raeford, NC, for the purpose of hearing the following: Application for Special Use Permit 26-3 submitted by Munawar Shahbain for the “Starz” gas station, located at 9130 Fayetteville Road, Raeford, NC 28376. This property is more specifically identified by Hoke County Tax Records as PIN# 494660201303 (5 Acres).

This Special Use Permit will allow the operation of a truck stop on the above-referenced property in accordance with the Hoke County Zoning Ordinance. There is no new construction. This will allow trucks to park on the property. Application for the rezoning of 4805 Arabia Road submitted by Dwight Jackson.
