Greater Fayetteville Chamber to Host 2026 State of the Community on August 25

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Greater Fayetteville Chamber will host its 2026 State of the Community on Tuesday, Aug. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Crown Complex Expo Center at 1960 Coliseum Drive in Fayetteville. The event will bring together business and community leaders for an opportunity to hear directly from leaders shaping the future of Fayetteville, Cumberland County and the surrounding region. Lunch will be served to attendees.

The State of the Community will feature a diverse group of leaders representing education, healthcare, government and the business community. Speakers will provide insight into the current state of the region, key priorities and the opportunities ahead.

Featured speakers include:

  • Dave Boliek, State Auditor of North Carolina 
  • Richard Hudson, Congressman, State of North Carolina
  • Mitch Colvin, Mayor, City of Fayetteville
  • Kirk deViere, Chairman of the Cumberland County Board of Commissioners
  • Darrell T. Allison, Chancellor, Fayetteville State University
  • Dan Weatherly, CEO, Cape Fear Valley Health
  • Paula Dingwall, Vice President of Education, Longleaf Pine REALTORS

The event also will feature Samantha Inczauskis, chamber board chair and an assistant professor and assistant dean at Methodist University; Tim Bryant, chamber board vice chair and Public Works Commission CEO and general manager; and Pastor Ernest Jones of True Vine Ministries.
