When I first started this journey, I had no idea where it would lead me — but what a rewarding path it has been. I’ve genuinely enjoyed every step along the way.
Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats. One of my favorite roles was serving as the Broker-in-Charge at Keller Williams Fayetteville, where I had the privilege of working with nearly 200 agents. It was never dull! I especially loved the opportunities to teach, mentor, and collaborate — whether with agents in the office or during cross-sales with other companies.
Today, I’m honored to serve as a trainer with the Longleaf Pine REALTORS® Association. If you’re a new agent, you’ll likely meet me during New Agent Orientation, and I also teach the Buyer Skills class as part of the education series. I’ve been lucky to spend so much time with many of you — and I truly enjoy every minute of it.
Currently, I serve on the 2025–2026 NC REALTORS® Board of Directors and as the 2025 Vice President of Education. While I could list titles from years past, what matters most is the work I’m doing today — and the impact it has on our real estate community.
I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not great at talking about myself — but I can talk all day about you, your goals, and how to help you succeed.

I am honored to be considered for a position on the Longleaf Pine REALTOR® Association Board of Directors. With 26 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Army, culminating in the role of First Sergeant, I bring proven leadership, integrity, and the ability to challenge the status quo when necessary to ensure the best interests of our association and its members are always represented.
As Vice President of the Community Outreach Committee, I’ve been proud to help expand our association’s reach to address food insecurity through partnerships with ALMS House, Friendship Garden, Er’Body Eatz, and Fayetteville Urban Ministry. We also support Marine Toys for Tots, providing joy for underprivileged children including military families; KidsPeace; and the Cape Fear Regional Theatre’s partnership with Cumberland County Schools, which ensures every 5th grader experiences a live musical performance. In addition, we’ve partnered with Cape Fear Valley for blood drives and supported the Fayetteville Urban Ministry Nehemiah Project, helping older members with essential home repairs.
I want to continue moving our association forward into the future and keep us at the top of our industry in alignment with our strategic plan. We’ve made significant progress over the past three years, and it is vital that we continue this momentum. That only happens when members are committed to progress and willing to move the association forward without fear of change.
I believe our association thrives when we embrace fresh ideas, uphold strong ethical standards, and stay focused on advancing the profession for the benefit of both REALTORS® and the communities we serve. It would be my privilege to represent you on the Board of Directors and continue building on the strong foundation of leadership, service, and advocacy within our association.

I have proudly served as a full-time REALTOR® in Fayetteville for more than 30 years, dedicated to my clients, colleagues, and our profession. In 2020, I served as the “COVID President” of Longleaf Pine REALTORS®, leading our association through one of the most challenging times in our history. In 2022, I was honored to be named REALTOR® of the Year, reflecting my commitment to service and professionalism.
At our local association, I currently serve, or have served on nearly every committee and chaired several, including Grievance, Professional Standards, Education, Membership, Economic Development, Legislative and Political Affairs, and RPAC. I also served on the Board of Directors 9 of the last 12 years. This broad service has given me a unique perspective on the needs of our members and the challenges we face.
At the state level, I currently serve as an NC REALTORS® Director, Chair of the 2025 NC REALTORS® Risk Management Committee, and as a member of the NC REALTORS® Forms Committee for the past 9 years. I have also served as Regional Vice President, RPAC Trustee, and on the Professional Standards and Legislative Committees. Working alongside REALTOR® leaders from across the state allows me to share new ideas, bring back best practices, and represent the voice of our association.
I am a proud RPAC Golden R President’s Circle member, inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame in 2025. I remain a strong advocate for policies that defend private property rights and promote homeownership.
Beyond real estate, I stay deeply engaged in our community as a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Military Affairs Council, a Director for the Sandhills Chapter of the American Red Cross, a former Fayetteville Planning Board Commissioner, and currently on the Storm Water Advisory Board—always working to stand up for private property rights.
I believe continuity in leadership is vital. My decades of service—through highs, lows, and NAR changes—have prepared me to be a steady voice of reason, always focused on protecting the interests of our members, our financial soundness, and ensuring we have the tools, resources, and representation to succeed.
I would be honored to serve as a Longleaf Pine REALTORS® Director again in 2026!

My goal in running is to make sure that we stay on track to be what we have been for several decades – The Best Association for Real Estate Agents in North Carolina. I love Real Estate agents and think they are some of the best people and I have always been impressed and admired our staff at Longleaf Pines and feel privileged to be a part of our Association.
I have 35 years of experience training agents and representing buyers and sellers in real estate and have been in sales and marketing since 1983. I have worked in the Fayetteville Real Estate and New Construction market since 1991. I was V.Pres. of Floyd Properties Real Estate and Broker in Charge of 45 agents and recruiting and training and also in charge of quality control of Customer Service as well as regulatory compliance for all contracts and in charge of Accounting and Property Management from 1994 until sold in 2005. I was also blessed to serve as the BIC for ERA Strother and BIC for Manning Realty before reopening Floyd Properties and starting my own Real Estate Company, Main St. Realty Inc.
I have served on several boards and committees local and state and I am a certified Ninja Trainer and I helped in the initial coarse designs of the Practical Apps for all incoming agents of Longleaf Pines Realtors® Association in North Carolina.
I served as a Director for the Fayetteville Regional Association of Realtors for 12 years and then was 2010 President of the (FRAR) Fayetteville Regional Association of Realtors and was named Realtor of the Year in 2011.I was also elected for my second term for President Elect and President of FRAR for 2015 and 2016 respectively.
For family and health reasons stepped away from being on the Board for a couple of years but feel like our industry and Association is facing a lot of crucial issues and would like to do all I can to make sure we stay a helpful resource to our local Real estate Agents.
